Who We Are

FACTOR is a support group for everyone. Whether you are an addict, a loved one of an addict, a community member who wants information or someone who wants to give support you are welcome. 
 
We give education, support, and resources. You never have to be alone concerning addiction, FACTOR is here to help.

Our Advisory Committee

Connie Maksemetz

Connie Maksemetz is the co-founder and co-facilitator of FACTOR. She is the former Wraparound Facilitator of Seneca County helping hundreds of families to stabilization supporting their family success. Along with her education in business, communication, and early childhood education, she has had numerous trainings in trauma informed care and drug addiction.

Connie is also the mother of an addict for the past 13 years and is very approachable in discussing all areas of addiction.

Jami Opp

Jami Opp received her Master’s degree in Criminal Behavior from Tiffin University, as well as her Bachelor’s degree. She holds a CDCA license through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. She is currently employed as a caseworker for the PIVOT Drug Court Program, and she is the Vice President of the North Central Academy school board.

 Stephanie Smith

Stephanie Smith is an addict in recovery. She is a certified Peer Recovery Support for mental health and addiction and carries a CDCA, (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) license. She provides Peer Support at the Factor Support Group meetings and for the Tiffin Community. She is Founder of Faithful Furnishings, which provides donated furniture to families and individuals recently homeless. She is currently employed as the House Manager for Lotus Recovery House in Tiffin. Stephanie dedicates her life to helping others change theirs.

William “Bill” Casey

William “Bill” Casey is Vice President of Quality and MetMax at National Machinery.

Beth Young

Beth Young is an addict in recovery, she is a peer supporter for FACTOR, she’s also employed at SuRest path recovery center as a peer supporter, and also a manager at the holiday inn express And helps people in recovery obtain employment. She is currently obtaining her Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant (CDCA).
